Designed a green street alley demonstration project to serve as a prototype for other similar conditions throughout the City of Los Angeles. The Elmer Paseo was designed to receive and treat surface stormwater flow from the adjacent neighborhood while providing a respite from the urban environment.
- Bioretention swale with California native riparian plant species.
- Introduced the use of green walls as an additional means to incorporate nutrient uptake plant material.
- Security lighting, site furniture and pervious pavement were also included in the project.
