Completely re-designed the 10-acre Los Angeles Zoo parking lot to incorporate Low Impact Development (LID) elements while optimizing vehicular and pedestrian traffic. In addition to LID elements, the project included the following improvements:
- A pedestrian promenade connecting the Gene Autry Museum and the Zoo Entrance Plaza.
- Site lighting for vehicles and pedestrians.
- Site furniture conforming to the Zoo’s design standards.
- Interpretive signage explaining stormwater capture project goals and benefits.
- Reclaimed water irrigation system and native bio-retention plant palette.
